- Mode of Exam: Offline (OMR Based).
- Question Type: Objective (Multiple Choice Questions).
- Negative Marking: There is NO Negative Marking in JPSC Prelims.
- Qualifying: Candidates must score minimum qualifying marks to be shortlisted for the Mains Examination.
Selection Process
- Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (Screening Test).
- Stage 2: Main Examination (Written / Descriptive).
- Stage 3: Personality Test (Interview).
- Final Merit: Based on marks obtained in Mains and Interview only.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Carry a printed copy of the JPSC Admit Card 2026 along with a valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhar, PAN, Voter ID).
- Reach the examination center at least 60 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
- Use only Blue/Black ballpoint pen for marking the OMR sheet.
